Its shocking the kind of **** we keep seeing. Its not just a problem in the NFL its a problem in the States. We keep idolizing a ghetto fab mentality, which corrodes the very fabric of decent society. I was lucky to live in a great neighborhood, but far too whenever I'd be at a place meeting people I knew from them being neighbors or school acquaintances a good chunk had this awful ghetto glorification. This need to be tough when roaming in packs.
I find it problematic because it symbolizes a trend that those who are lucky enough to be born with opportunities that most would do anything for, those same people instead of helping improve the conditions of those who were not afforded the same opportunities glorify the lifestyle because at the end of the night they come home to their cushy life without really having to know what its like to live in an area where non-sensical gang violence exists.
