LG didn't launch the Optimus G2 or an LG tablet at CES, instead hinting at Mobile World Congress launches.
The LG Optimus G2 was hotly tipped to land at CES this week as a follow up to the LG Optimus G, but the company decided instead to introduce its strategy for getting smart tech into the home, with washing machine, refrigerator and TV launches.
Included at the press conference was a new TV remote control and new home appliance products, alongside fresh Ultra HD TVs.
LG was happy to talk about its successes of 2012 though, with the LG Optimus G and Nexus 4 two of its most celebrated products.
LG also spoke significantly about its strategy of making everything easier for consumers in 2012, including one touch to program your smart appliances and one touch to stream media to your TV.
We were a little disapoointed with the lack of smartphone/tablet announcements this year, but excited about launches at Mobie World Congress next month.
