Thanks to a cold front, South Florida should enjoy cooler drier air this week, starting with temperatures dipping into the 50s by late Tuesday night.
Tuesday?s forecast otherwise calls for partly sunny skies and breezy conditions with afternoon highs in the low 80s. There is a 40 percent chance of rain.
On Wednesday, afternoon temperatures should only reach the low 70s, while nighttime readings are forecast to drop into the upper 40s and low 50s.
It won?t be the arctic blast many are hoping for, but it should be beautiful weather nonetheless.
The rest of the week, through New Year?s Day, also should be pleasant with lots of sun, mild afternoons and cool evenings.
