Motorola's MotoActv will get you into shape

Keeping track of your workouts and fitness goals can be a hassle, but it's a necessary evil when it comes to getting into shape. Motorola is attempting to make that whole task easier though?? with a wearable computer called MOTOACTV.

MOTOACTV is a small device?? it measures in at?46mm x 46mm x 9.6 mm??which you'll wear on?your wrist, slip into an arm band, or attach to your bike.?It will keep track of the time, distance, speed, calories, and GPS location related to your workouts. It can also make note of your heart rate by measuring it using?the Motorola SF700 Bluetooth headset.

The MOTOACTV will have a capacitive touchscreen and a crisp display which you should be able to view easily outdoors. It will supposedly be sweat-, rain-, and scratch-proof.?It will be able to hold about 4,000 songs and offers an FM radio feature as well as an audio-based virtual fitness coach.

The device will sync?? over Wi-Fi?? with the?MOTOACTV web portal where you'll be able to track and plan workouts.

Motorola's MOTOACTV will be available starting November 6 and it will come in an 8GB version (which will be priced at $249) and a 16GB version (which will be priced at $299).
