Some surprising news has hit the web. According to several reports Splash actress Daryl Hannah was hauled away in cuffs and arrested after protesting an oil pipeline at the White House. Get all the details here. Fifty-year old actress Daryl Hannah was arrested today at the White House, where she reportedly took part in a sit-in at the famous address of Pennsylvania Avenue. Hannah was there to take part in a protest against a pipeline expansion project that would “significantly increase the amount of oil the United States imports from Canada’s controversial Alberta oil sands,” per CNN. More than a hundred people showed up in attendance to object the plan.
